Ann Wax has been a health care professional
for over 30 years, as a Registered Nurse, health educator, Medicaid facilitator,
and geriatric care manager. After serving as a nurse at several major teaching
hospitals, including the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and
Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, Ann taught psychiatric nursing as a clinical
instructor for the Nassau County B.O.C.E.S. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
program. She continues to be an active member of the medical community, serving
as an oncology nurse in a private medical practice in Manhasset, New York.
She
worked with a law firm in Great Neck, New York specializing in elder law. Ann
